Weight loss, getting ready for school, What ever else comes to mind

So, I have been trying to lose weight! About 5 1/2 years ago I got really sick and had to take medication for the last few years. Medication I had to take at first was Prednisone and they tried to quickly take me off it but my sickness was to strong to be killed just like that so the second time in the hospital they put me on Azathioprine along with Prednisone. At first, with just Prednisone, I was 170lbs(I started off at 140lbs and gained 30 lbs) then I got on Azathioprine and short up to 190-195lbs.

Pretty much I went from: 140lbs(63.5kg)->170lbs(77.11kg)->195lbs(88.45kg) 

So through out high school I was around 195lbs, low self-esteem, and on top of that I not much of a social life. I have been coming off the medication slowly but as long as I was on Prednisone my weight wouldn't change much. Then finally last year I came completely off Prednisone and went from: 195(88.45kg)->170(77.11kg)->166(75.3kg) with in the first few months. So ever since the beginning of 2012 I have been in the 160lb range and haven't really lost alot till now.

During the summer I started to go on a small diet. I haven't really been interested in losing weight but to lose inches around my waist and other areas. When I measured myself last year I just passed over the 39.37inches(100cm) mark and I decided I wanted all my measurements under 100cm if I could do that. Since then, my bust and waist have changed the most. 

March of 2011:

B: 115

W: 99

H: 109

May of 2011:

B: 118

W: 98

H: 110

Now I am:

B: 103

W: 88

H: 104

Weight: 161.4lbs(73.2kg) 

BMI: 29.5

I have also grown 2cm since 2 years ago! 

So, yeah, celebration time!!!!!

In 16 days, I start my first day of university. The last two years I have been going to a Community College studying Music Business but I got bored and lonely studying that so I am transferring to a university. Unfortunately, I have to take a bus and light-rail ride for about 1 hour and my first class starts at 9am, everyday. The love I have for learning Korean and Japanese! ^____^ My major at this University will be East Asian Studies, which involves Japan, Korea and China into the study. My focus country is Japan and the minor country is Korea. 

I have mentioned before I will work hard to keep this blog updated while I am in the university and show my life!

Changed my blog name!

So I decided I wanted my blog to have an interesting name!

In America, I am averagely short. I'm not too short but alot of people have fun making fun of me... It's alittle bit off my pride and my downfall.

Month till I start University

Since I have come back from San Diego, life has been very boring. Besides the fact I keep going to sleep around 2-4am, nothing new and interesting has happened(I really think I brought back a ghost from the hotel... I keep feeling and thinking I see things)

I bought some text books for my classes.(I can't put the picture up!)

I bought some folders too! I plan to be very serious in my studies. I mean I have been serious but this is like another start. I did well in High School. Then I started my first year of Community College emotionally bad and ever since then my emotions were messed up. This time I'm off to study about East Asia, so its a total new experience.

Oh... September 1-3 there is an Anime Convention called Saboten. I applied to do some Panels and I managed to get them.

Another thing, my computer isn't working well so I have to send it in to the computer company! 

And I think that it with an update of my life... countdown till University!

I forgot about this blog.

As soon as I got home I ended up getting sick so I have been sick since Monday morning(It is Friday and I'm starting get better)

I haven't been sick this long in forever so it really sucked!

I have been having fun with Instagram! I finally started application process for the Japanese school to find more problems for my plan so I might be pushing back my study to July next year and not April.

San Diego Day 4 and 5!

I didn't update yesterday because... I just didn't want to! ^_^
I tried to take pictures but my phone has been acting up since I got here and it doesn't seem to work in the hotel or the convention center! On top of that my camera on my phone has been acting up so alot of my pictures are not showing up! T_T
On to of that I'm not a good person when it comes to taking pictures at things like this, basically all picture I took were because my mom was there an convinces me or she was taking the picture too!

So I will post all the pictures I have at the top and then tell my two day stories!

So...

Starting off day 4...

I woke up early, even though my first panel was at 3. I ended up just sitting around the hotel but then I decided to get a smoothie from Robek Juice, which is basically a health drink store, I got a good smoothie but it was too big! ^_^

I ended up scanning the vendor hall for the second time and eventually found myself upstairs with nothing to do, so I went to look for my mother who was sitting at a table close to the middle of the convention center.

My mother and I waited and eventually head to the panel an hour before the panel to stand in line for the it.

Viz introduced their new project called, Neon Alley, which is pretty much one of the most exciting news for me, since it would be very interesting to get a TV station full of anime, even though I am not much of an anime fan because I havent found anime that is interesting for my type of anime watching(I read alo of manga though!)

I wanted to hang out with my friend but she wasn't texting back so I was alittle worried about it, but found out she was volunteering. So after the Viz panel I met up with my friend and ended up talking about Hey!Say!JUMP and all the fun thing we talk online about!

I had a panel at 5:30pm so my friend and I parted ways and I went to the Kodansha panel! I always like small companies because they always have the non-main stream manga that I like and at panels you can feel the closeness with the panelists and audiences.

I has a panel that started halfway through Kodansha, but luckly Kodansha started their Q&A half way through the panel so I managed to sneak out and go to my 3rd panel of the say, which was an non-anime/manga panel, called The Character of Music. This panel was about music, Background music in Televisions. I am in love with music, but most of the music I like is Japanese music and I like more Japanese television than American, so it was alittle hard to follow along in what they were talking about. The panel was okay, my main complaint would be the "hosts" of the panel were reading the panelists' bio off a piece of paper, and it sounded very wikipedia-ish and they continuously made mistakes in readings. Compared to both anime/manga panels I went to where they knew everyone and it was alittle more relax!

I went back to the hotel and eventually went to sleep.

On the 5th day, I woke up three times. One time was aroung 4-5am when my bedmate left hotel, I quickly went to back to sleep. Second time was when mom woke me up to ask me where my bedmate went, and I answered her and quickly went back to sleep. Third time was my official wake up time, and that was around 8am, I debated about going back to sleep but the first panel of the day was at 11am-ish so I had to wake up. I got ready, went and got my Robek smoothie(This time a smaller size) and head to the convention center to my panel.

First panel was about Jmanga, a manga reading site that is worldwide, you have to pay for it but it's legal! ^_^ It is a really nice site and worth looking into! I think I will continue using it even when I go to Japan!(Very comforting knowing atleast one thing I would be paying for over here can be transferred to Japan)

Next panel was VIZ Neon Alley panel! My mother was going to go to the Funimation panel but didn't make it in time so she just went to Neon Alley panel with me. The panel was very informative, we found out Neon Alley is going to be streamed on PS3(the only console we DON'T have)

I think the idea of Neon Alley is amazing but I don't think it will do much help for me! V_V

My last panel of the day was at 6:30pm so I ended up hanging out with my mother until about 5pm and I decided to go get some goods from J-list and ended up spending 56USD on it! *scream*

After that I went to the next panel area which is pretty much the best area in the convention for using my phone!!!!!!!!! I spend time looking at the things I just bought and talking to a lady next to me.

The Yen Press panel was very short and nothing really applied to me, but I got a free 20USD manga, so it was all good, if I like the manga... I don't know!

After the panel I came back to the hotel and here I am!

Saturday is the BIG day! So I hope I have things to tell! ^_^

I am actually alittle happy the end is almost here, I leave on Sunday, and I'm happy to be able to get home to my house! I don't like hotels! ComicCon is cool, but there isn't much for someone like me, who has a love for Japan and Japanese pop culture. I don't have many friend so sometime the conventions like this are intimidating!

San Diego Day 3

So today was pretty boring!

Started off by... again having a horrible night sleep!
Woke up around 6:00am and in the end we decided to stay awake. I already had plan to meet up with my friend around 11am but I got bored so I left early to exchange goods for money(I am so 27 dollars richer now)

I was hoping to hang out with her but she had to leave after our transaction so I walked toward the hotel(but I ended up at the mall, where my mom and brother were, their plan was to go to see a movie so I went with them! Movie was Madagascar 3)

Then we went back to the hotel

We have two other roommates in our hotel room! So both of them came then we went of to preview night!

Finally got to preview night at the convention and I realized again how lonely and boring it is to be by yourself at a Convention. I have been coming to this concert since I was 11 years old. About 12-13 years old I ended up going around the convention by myself. I managed to skim the vendors hall very well and, again, my interest is not very popular so nothing that peaked my interest! V_V

So my day ended pretty bad and I didnt take alot of pictures I can post online since alot of them are through instagram.

San Diego Day 2

So another post on my tales of the day!
First I woke up around 4am because of a dream of a ghost thing...It was scary! Then while awake I wasn't able to go back to sleep because I kept feeling the room was haunted! YES I am strange!
So I managed to go back to sleep and woke up around 8am and waited around with my mom then I finally got myself read and went to get my bus passfor the next four days.
I went back to the hotel to get my sunglasses and then I was off to Mitsuwa!
First, I decided to go to Marukai and I bought some make up, nail cliper and other misc. things.

I ended up not eating anything all morning so by the time I got to Mitsuwa aroung 12pm I was so hungry so I ran and got a bento.

This bento was really good! It is Karage!<3 (I acturally ate sme of it before I took the picture)

I went to the book store after that to fine the Johnny/Idol magazines but they didn't have any so I just bought three manga and a K-pop Japanese magazines!

I bought alot of snacks at Mitsuwa

Since there were not Johnny magazines at the store I went over to Book-off, but the Johnny Magazines were not there. Insted I bought two Seventeen magazines because Jump was in one and 7 was in the other.

Then I took a picture of Mitsuwa before heading off the Starbucks

At Starbucks I ordered a iced coffee but forgot to ask for half and half

I went to the bathroom and tired to put on one of my thing I bought but I couldn't get it on and someone wanted to go to the bathroom!

So I left and went into Ross hoping there will be a bathroom I can put the item on but they didn't have a bathroom so I looked at the shoes and found some nice shoes that I decided to buy....

Some amazing shoes! Very comfortable and easy to walk in!

So after that I decided to go back to the hotel!


After that my and I went out looking for food and ended up getting Subway!
